The RDM-C project aims to adapt Reelwell’s dual channel drill string for liner- and casing drilling, solving challenges related to torque and pressure losses.
Calculations indicate very good performance on the above points and thereby improve the applications for liner- and casing drilling. A successful technology development will result in large value creation from petroleum fields in Norway and around the world. The goal for the Joint Industry Project between Reelwell and industrial partners is a pilot by 2019.
