Senior Software Engineer

To support our continued growth, we are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our R&D team.

​

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a pivotal member of our R&D team within the Electronics & Software technical discipline. Your contributions will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of Reelwell’s product lines.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work in line with company QHSE Management System & Policies

• As delegated, own discipline specific development tools and establish and maintain guidelines and practices for use

• Deliver on product requirements & specifications

• Support and participate in the Concept Development, Design, Engineering, Qualification & Testing, Prototyping, Documentation, Deployment & Testing of Products and Systems

• System architecture and design

• Data visualization

• Modelling and algorithms related to interpretations of sensor data

• Embedded software

• Surface control system architecture and implementation

• Technical review / approval of discipline specific designs

• Ensuring project remains on schedule / timeline

• Procedure development within discipline and products

• Purchasing and managing subcontractors

• Internal reporting & reviews

• Technical support to product sales and operations

• Support other product lines as requested

• Training and supporting other employees as needed

• Other duties as assigned
   

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree within Software and/or electronics

• 5 years or more relevant experience
   

You must have a valid work permit for employment in Norway.​
