Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Geothermal Well Completion

Reelwell is revolutionising the future of the energy industry! We are developing a new method for producing geothermal energy, removing the traditional challenges with geothermal energy wells: Fracking, pollution of groundwater, micro earthquakes, scaling, and corrosion are all eliminated with the Reelwell horizontal closed loop geothermal well solution.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Geothermal Well Completion

You will participate in the full development cycle, from early idea maturation through concept feasibility and all the way to detailed design and qualification.

Some of your responsibilities will be

• Conceptual design

• Detailed design and modelling

• Simulations and calculations

• Prototyping and testing

You have experience and knowledge in several of these areas:

• New product development processes

• 3D modelling and design

• Downhole tool design

• Well Completion

• Drilling and well operations

• Finite element analysis and calculations

• Materials

Ideally you have a Master in Mechanical Engineering with 4 years of experience. However, formal qualifications are less important if you can demonstrate knowledge and skills.
