DualLink is built with multiple rings (need correct explanation!), giving full redundancy in operation.
As a result, DualLink is substantially more reliable than downhole batteries and pulsers.
In addition, the depreciation, and R&M costs for DualLink are substantially less than the cost of the bHA components being removed.
The ability to transmit reliable power downhole opens up the opportunities for a whole range of new downhole tools to be developed which could result in a range of unknown operational and commercial benefits.
